Music Entertainment Across Cumberland

Entertainment across Cumberland was the discussion during the Downtown Development Commission meeting on Thursday at city hall, President Larry Jackson reported over 200 musical events scheduled in Cumberland for the next 90 days. Featured performances include the Levitt series, Loft 129, the Gallery Stage, various independent venues, and upcoming festivals at the fairgrounds…

“The Levitt series and then talked about some Loft 129, Gallery Stage some other independence venues. Talked about the festivals that are happening like at the fairgrounds and all that and basically there’s in the next 90 days in Cumberland there’s over 200 different concerts and performances and bands that are playing within those things. So, if somebody says there’s nothing to do in Cumberland, I don’t know… I wouldn’t know how to respond to that.”

Jackson also highlighted longstanding traditions such as Sunday in the Park, the Summer in the City series, and August’s Jazz Crawl. The Commission emphasized that these extensive options ensure a high volume of activity in Cumberland this summer.
