Criminal Summons Served for Assault

On Monday, June 15, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Eric Bond.  The summons was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on June 10, 2026 at approximately 9:23 PM when officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Myrtle Street for an assault.  Police contacted the alleged victim who reported that she was assaulted by Bond.  After further investigation, police filed for charges against Bond at the District Court of Allegany County.  He was released pending trial.
