The state of Maryland is looking to reduce traffic fatalities with a summer awareness campaign.  The Maryland State Police and the MVA will provide ongoing crash updates this summer.  Already in June 13 lives have been lost on state highways.  The state is reminding drivers to obey posted speed limits, especially in work zones, avoiding distracted driving, and wear seat belts.  Motorists are required to move over for vehicles with flashing lights. Drivers should never drive impaired, and avoid aggressive driving.
