An article on the website Maryland Matters states that U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland is pondering a run for president in 2028.  A spokesperson for the senator said he is “kicking the tires” on a possible run.  Van Hollen has been one of the most vocal critics of President Donald Trump.
