D.R. Horton Contract Signed By Corporate

Most residents of the area have been waiting to hear about a start date for the housing project along Sedgwick Avenue in West Side. Allegany County Government early Monday afternoon posted to social media that the final development documents have been signed by D.R. Horton so the project can move forward.  Commissioner Bill Atkinson told WCBC the county knew it was just a matter of time…

“The regional folks had signed off on it. They’re the ones that are going to be doing the actual overseeing of the construction of it so we knew they already in favor of it. It was just a matter of running it through the corporate pipeline and getting it signed.”
