Construction is underway in Washington D.C. for the Great American State Fair, part of the national America250 birthday celebration, opening June 25 and running through July 10. Ashley Webster with Fox News has details from the nation’s capital…

“Ten city blocks of the National Mall will be transformed into a multi-week state fair complete with a Ferris wheel, of course. State-themed pavilions, over 150 exhibits, movie screenings, musical performances, military flyovers, nostalgic snacks, a daily rodeo. Each of the fair’s 16 days will have its own theme.”
