A major improvement at the Port of Baltimore was welcomed Monday as Governor Wes Moore officially opened the Howard Street Rail tunnel to double-stack rail service. The $495 million dollar tunnel project will grow the Port’s container business. Height restrictions at the tunnel had prevented double-stack shipments, preventing such trains from accessing the Port.
