Cox Acceptance Speech Highlights Energy Plan

Tuesday’s Primary Election saw Dan Cox emerge as the frontrunner for the Republican ticket for Maryland Governor. Cox handily beat out Ed Hale for the nomination, taking 45% of the vote.  In his acceptance speech, Cox pointed to a number of issues he would like to change if he becomes governor…

“Under Wes Moore, electric plants have been shuttered, shut down, and more are scheduled to be closed. With skyrocketing electric bills for every Marylander. That will stop under a Cox-Crop administration and we will use emergency powers to bring electric plants back online. We will work to make Maryland energy independent, slashing electric and gas bills.”
