Moore Pressed on Sects of Democratic Party

Elections across the country have seen the rise of Democratic Socialists and Communists taking public office.  Recently Governor Wes Moore talked with Fox News Sunday where he distanced himself from such parts of the Democratic Party…

“I think the thing that I focus on is what’s the results I’m providing for my people. I do not prescribe to an ideology. I do not prescribe to a wing.”

The governor also said that Maryland has taken steps to protect those who are often targets of left-wing activists…

“I’ve been very clear that hate is not going to find a home inside of our state. We’ve made record investments in terms of protecting homes of worship. We’ve also made record investments in making sure that our Imams, our Rabbis, our ministers that everyone is going to have a seat at the table and that people are going to be protected inside of our state.”
