Moore Calls Out Trump On Pardons, Crypto

When Wes Moore became governor of Maryland, he signed legislation requiring himself and any future governor to put their investments into a blind trust to prevent conflicts of interest in office. This past weekend, Moore spoke with CNN about his thoughts on President Trump’s use of pardons and profiting from crypto investments…
“I do have very real issues when it comes to some of the decisions that have been made when it comes to pardons. Where we watch people that the president has pardoned that have turned around and invested in his children’s businesses. I do have an issue with some of the ways that we’ve seen how, if you look at cryptocurrencies, the President of the United States has made more money on crypto than crypto companies in the past year.”
