Two Killed in Mineral County Crash Sunday

A crash on Route 956 on Sunday claimed the lives of two people. Five ambulances were called to the scene of an apparent head-on collision just after 8pm. The Mineral County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash. Trooper 5 was called along with Conemaugh MedStar helicopters which landed at Frankfort High School. One person was transported to Ruby Memorial in Morgantown. The sheriff’s office said there were two fatalities at the scene.  The identities of the deceased have not been released.
