Trooper 5 Rescues Mountain Biker

Maryland State Police Trooper 5 was dispatched to Rocky Gap State Park on Sunday for rescue of a biker who experienced a seizure and fell. Because of the biker’s remote location, Maryland State Police Aviation was requested to do a hoist rescue. Emergency services on the ground maintained patient care as a trooper-rescue technician was lowered to the site. The patient was hoisted to Trooper 5 and then transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
