Bench Warrant Violation of Probation.

On Monday, July 20th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Jami Laraine Anderson, 45, of Cumberland MD. Anderson was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 9th, 2026. The warrant alleges Anderson violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon her due to a previous conviction on charges of failing to send a child to school. Anderson appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held on a $500 bond.
