Warrants Served

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Joseph Jacob Turner. The warrant was issued as the result of an Allegany County Sherriff’s Office Deputy filing charges against Turner at the District Court of Allegany County. Walmart staff reported that Turner was observed taking merchandise from the store without paying. The total value of the items stolen were valued over $100.00 and less than $1,500.00. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a Temporary Commitment and is awaiting a bond review hearing.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Wednesday July 22, 2026 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Tyrell Donte Brown for VOP. He was originally charged with Trespass-Posted Property and CDS ADMIN EQUIP POSS/DIST. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner for initial appearance and is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Wednesday July 22, 2026 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Trinity Ann Hensel for failure to appear. She was originally charged with knowingly driving uninsured vehicle. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner for initial appearance and was released on recognizance.
