If you live in the Midlothian, Frostburg, or surrounding areas, please check your home security cameras, doorbell cameras, trail cameras, or dash cameras for any footage that may assist investigators.

Allegany County Sheriff’s Office believe these to be isolated incidents. However, the Sheriff’s Office reminds everyone to take precautions to protect their property. Please ensure that vehicles, trailers, ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and tools are secured whenever possible. We also encourage owners to keep records of serial numbers, VINs, photographs, and current insurance coverage, as these can be invaluable in the event of a theft.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office at 301-777-1585 and appreciate the continued support of our community as we work to identify those responsible, recover the stolen property, and hold those involved accountable.
