Central Avenue Breaking and Entering Arrest

On July 26th, 2026 at approximately 10:22 p.m., officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Central Avenue regarding a breaking and entering complaint. Upon arrival the officers contacted the victim, who advised that Hawke Anthony Coffman had kicked through their door and gained entry into the residence. The officer observed damage to the door consistent with the victim’s statement. The victim then provided officers with a description of Coffman and he was located a short distance from the property. Coffman was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking where he is awaiting a bond review at the time of this report.
