Messiah Christian Academy Will Move Later in School Year

Messiah Christian Academy will begin its second year of operation on September 8 at Holy Cross United Methodist Church in Carpendale.  Administrator Dan Thompson says the move to a larger facility in Fort Ashby will come later in the year as the school continues to grow…

“At least 75 for starting out this school year. We have several families that are homeschooling. And because of our numbers that are already there, we’re actually taking up the last room in the building.”

Thompson told WCBC that Holy Cross has been gracious in sharing its facility with Messiah, noting that the church building has also seen improvements…

“We’re basically going to turn back to Holy Cross a building much better than we went into, helping them by upgrading classrooms, LED lighting, painting, carpeting.”
