Keyless Entry An Option For Church Safety

Mark Widmyer with Advantage Computer and Communications was recently on the Dave Norman program discussing security options for churches. While traditional security systems provide some protection, there is also a way for churches to control access through the week through keyless entry systems…

“We talk about security systems – how many doors and windows do you have that are vulnerable to thieves? This is how many doors do you want to control and if you want to control them do you want certain doors that only certain people can get in?”

Widmyer says churches in the region have not escaped issues of aggression from outside sources…

“You would be surprised at how many problems have popped up in churches in this area. And the problem being someone coming in the door during church service and disrupting the service. It does happen.”
