The ruling by a United States District Judge regarding the new FBI headquarters has Governor Wes Moore rejoicing.  The new facility was to be built in Greenbelt, Maryland, but the Trump Administration disregarded that plan.  Monday’s ruling puts the FBI building back in Maryland, and Governor Moore said the judge made the right call…

“We show that Maryland is a place that we can both build a facility quickly, we can get it done cost-effectively, we can have it be near metro but also make sure that it is safe and protected for the agents and the analysts and, again, we won this competitive process fair and square.”

Governor Moore pointed out that rules are meant for everyone…

“Justice prevails because the President of the United States does not get to break the law simply because he does not like the fact that the state did not vote for him or he does not like the governor of the state.”
