WV New Tourism Director Announced

Governor Patrick Morrisey announced West Virginia’s new Secretary of Tourism on Tuesday. Former state legislator Kayla Kessinger is stepping into the role after Chelsea Ruby resigned after serving over five years. During Tuesday’s press conference, Kessinger thanked Governor Morrisey for the opportunity to serve the state in another capacity…
“To be stepping into a department that has accomplished so many remarkable things over the last couple of years and a team that is incredibly strong, that loves West Virginia, that loves the work that they get to do, and giving me the opportunity to step into this role is something that I could not be more excited about an more grateful for.”
