Residents Concerned About Feral Cat Population

Several city residents addressed the Cumberland City Council on Tuesday regarding the increasing feral cat population. After a recent rabid cat incident on West Side, Pam Reynolds of Fayette Street and Richard Pravlik of Race Street both raised concerns about residents feeding ferals. “Now, anywhere across the city, if there’s somebody out here that’s feeding cats illegally, I’d ask the neighbors to report it to us, and we’ll get Animal Control out there.”
