State Supreme Court Hearing on Redistricting

Maryland’s Supreme Court will take up the issue of the state’s proposed constitutional amendment to appear on the November ballot. The amendment would allow congressional districts in Maryland to be redrawn, potentially creating an all-Democrat federal delegation. “Two independent judges in different counties reached the exact same conclusion and found that on three different reasons the constitutional amendment was infirm which suggests that we’re going up to the Maryland Supreme Court with the wind at our backs.”
