CTF Supports Whiskey Rebellion

The Whiskey Rebellion celebration is coming to town next Friday at the Allegany Museum.  Along with Boggs Wealth Management, a major supporter is the Community Trust Foundation, which has helped with other projects such as the Cumberland Clock downtown.  Pam Twigg is the executive director of the Foundation and she explained its purpose to WCBC…

“We are the community savings bank for the region so we serve Allegany, Garrett, and Mineral counties. It’s our 2 0th anniversary so we’re celebrating this year as well.”

Twigg added that the Foundation supports many worthy projects in the tri state area.

“Basically what we are is a philanthropic grant-making organization. Our goal is to get money back in to the community and of the organizations we support is the Allegany Museum.”
