Canal Street Obstructing and Hindering Arrest

On Friday, September 11, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers were on patrol in the area of Canal Street when they observed Tyler Poole walking through the area. Officers attempted to make contact with Poole due to him having multiple arrest warrants. Once Poole saw the officers, he turned and began to flee. After a brief foot chase, Officers were able to locate Poole and place him under arrest. Poole was served with the warrants, and two additional charges were applied as a result of the foot pursuit. Poole was taken before a district court commissioner, where he was released on his own recognizance pending his trials.

CHARGES: Failure to Appear (CDS Paraphernalia Possession), Failure to Appear (Theft Less Than $1,500), Trespassing Railroad Property, Obstructing and Hindering
