County Projects Receive Funding

Two Allegany County projects received funding at Wednesday’s Board of Public Works meeting.  Allegany College of Maryland received $61,000 for ADA compliant seating at the Bazarnic Baseball Field.  The seating is directly behind home plate.  The Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company in Lonaconing received $100,000 to purchase a new tanker to replace its 1990 tanker.
