Allegany County Rated One of Best Places To Visit For Fall

Allegany County, Maryland has once again been named one of the top “Best Places To Visit For Fall” in the United States in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.  The Western Maryland county placed second in voting. Voters chose Mackinac Island, Michigan as best in the reader poll. The top five locations also included Woodstock Georgia, Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Lafayette Louisiana. Allegany County has been nominated four times in the annual competition.
