Narcotics Arrest Made

On September 16, 2026, the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force arrested Brandon Martese Paige, 44, of Cumberland, MD.
The arrest was part of a month-long CDS investigation for the distribution and sales of cocaine in the Allegany County area. Members of the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, Cumberland Police Department, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, and Maryland State Police Strategic Operations Group, executed a search and seizure warrant in the 700 block of Gephart Drive, Cumberland, MD.
Paige was found to be in possession of a large amount of cocaine, CDS packaging material, a large amount of U.S. currency and two firearms with ammunition.
Paige was charged with the following:
Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
Possession of Cocaine
Firearm/Drug Trafficking Crime (2 Counts)
Chief James R. Pyles says; “Let me be clear: if you are selling drugs in the City of Cumberland, we are coming for you. We will find you, we will investigate you, and we will arrest you. The Cumberland Police Department has made the largest commitment in our history to the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, and we are putting every available resource behind this fight. To those bringing dangerous drugs into our city: this is your warning. We are coming, and we are not letting up.”
