AG Brown Praises Court Decision on Vote-By-Mail

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown has spoken out on the US Supreme Court’s decision to decline the Trump administration’s request to stay a preliminary injunction blocking the US Postal Service’s mail voting rule, calling it unlawful. Brown told WBAL the fight isn’t over but vote-by-mail is protected for Marylanders in the coming election…

“The Supreme Court got it right. The Postal Service has no business deciding who gets a ballot and who doesn’t. The rule that they tried to promulgate was an attempt to seize control of elections and that control belongs to the state.”
