Criminal Citations for Trespassing Posted Property

On Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, officers with the Cumberland Police Department were conducting routine foot patrols when they observed several individuals trespassing on property belonging to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Officers made contact with the individuals and identified them as Jason Edward Hanlin, Doniel Hanlin, and Timothy Teets. They were all issued criminal citations and released from the scene pending trial.
