Harris Wants People To Remember Gains

Maryland Congressman Andy Harris, the only Republican member of Maryland’s federal delegation, failed to gain support for a bill suspending gas taxes in light of increasing prices for unleaded and diesel fuel. Fellow GOP members did not support the move, but Harris tells reporters that Republicans need to be reminding voters of positive things the party has done as elections approach…

“We have to remind people that we gave them the largest tax break ever in U.S. history. That put more dollars in their pockets. Look, we understand that the price at the gas pump, the price at the grocery stores are high. But, they were higher. The rate of inflation was much higher under Joe Biden.”
