Dr. Carey Wright, State Superintendent of schools, announced at the most recent state board of education meeting that they are forming a workgroup to study the state of financial literacy in Maryland…

“This workgroup will include representatives from across the state, financial literacy experts, and other key external partners. The workgroup will review the standards that are currently out for public comment and then make recommendations to improve financial knowledge and skills of graduating Maryland students.”
