Library System to Hold Community Input Sessions

The Allegany County Library System is planning several community input sessions to help set a direction for the library’s future.  The first public session is taking place this evening at the George’s Creek Library from 5:30-6:30pm.  Library spokesperson Ashley Swinford says each session is an open conversation about the services, programs, and priorities for a new strategic plan…

“The last time we had a dedicated process and consultant come in it was 2019, just before COVID and the world change.  So, it’s definitely time for us to set some new goals and come up with a direction that will best meet the community’s needs.”
