White Oak Lanes Youth Bowling League

Come out to Roy Rogers on Tuesday, May 21st, for the White Oak Lanes Youth Bowling League Spirit Night 5:00PM to 8:00PM. This event is to raise money for local youth bowlers to offset the cost of competing in the USBC National Junior Gold Scholarship Tournament held in Detroit Michigan in July.

Alta E. Schrock Guided Nature Walk

Come out to the Springs Farmers' Market, Saturday, June 1st, 9:30AM, 1711 Springs Road, Springs, PA 15562, Join Tanya Bucci who will lead an easy 4/10 mile walk in the woods adjacent to the Farmers' Market grounds. Following the walk there will be a plant presentation in the Folk Metting House at 11:00AM. Please call for reservations. Rain date is June 8th.

Family Movie Night Under The Stars

The Allegany County Library System in collaboration with the George's Creek Promotional Council will be showing the movie "The Rookie", Saturday, June 1st at 7:30, in the beautiful back yard of the George's Creek Library. During the movie, guests may enter a drawing to win tickets to the Altoona Curve. The event is free and open to the public. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Please bring a lawn chair, The event will be rescheduled in the case of bad weather. The Good Will Vounteer Fire Company will be holding a Vera Bradley Bingo, June 2nd 2:00PM-4:00PM at the Good Will Firemen's Armory. Tickets will be $20 for 20 fun rounds of bingo. George Washington Whiskey Rebellion Fest

Allegany Museum's signature event, the George Washington Whiskey Rebellion Fest, is on again, Friday, June 7th, 6:00PM-10:00PM. The Fest commemorates President George Washington's visit to Cumberland to lead the suppression of the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794. Guests will enjoy tastings of whiskey and other spirits, historic re-enactments, a colonial 'pub' room providing authentic colonial games, photos with 'President Washington', canapes, an open beer and wine bar, and presentation of cigar/whiskey pairings with cigar purchase. 6th Annual CASA Wine and Craft Beer Festival

Children's Adaptive Sports Leauge (CASL)

FREE Baseball Clinic for all children with Special Needs, Sunday, June 9th, 2:00PM-3:30PM, Long Field – Constitution Park. Open to Boys and Girls ages 4 to 21.
