4.) COACH TIM NIGHTENGALE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM SOCCER POST: Including his time at Beall, Nightengale posted a 4-0 record in state championships, winning one at Beall in 2004, back to back titles at Mountain Ridge 2010-2011, as well as one in 2019. He coached a record 17 teams to area titles.
3.) FROSTBURG MAKES FIRST D2 NATIONAL PLAYOFFS – ADVANCING TO THE QUARTERFINALS: Head Coach Eric Wagoner & the MEC Champion Bobcats punched their ticket to the D2 playoffs winning two game and advancing to the quarterfinal round where they fell to #1 Kutztown.
