ACPS COVID Update

For the 7-day period of  February 4-10, 2022, there were no schools that met the definition of a School Wide Outbreak of COVID-19.

 

West Side Elementary School had one cohort that met the definition of a cohort outbreak.

 

ACPS had 13 staff members and 72 students reported as positive for COVID-19 during this time.  ACPS had 1 staff member quarantined as a close contact.  64 students were reported as close contacts to a positive person and required to quarantine.  This includes all staff and students reported as close contacts, whether the close contact occurred in the home, community, or school

Weekly COVID Update: For the 7-day period of December 10 – 16, 2021, there were no new schools identified with a School Wide COVID-19 Outbreak. The following schools remain on the Maryland Department of Health School Wide Outbreak list: Allegany High School, Fort Hill High School, Mountain Ridge High School, and Mount Savage School.

 

George's Creek Elementary School, West Side Elementary School, John Humbird Elementary School, Parkside Elementary School and Washington Middle School each had cohorts that met the definition of a cohort outbreak.

 

ACPS had nine staff members and 63 students reported as positive for COVID-19 during this time, and five staff members and 109 students were identified as a close contact to a positive person and required to be quarantined.
