On Monday, December 30, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Jonathon Tomko for violating the terms of his probation. Tomko was originally charged with a sex offense in the third degree. Tomko was arrested and taken to the Allegany County Commissioner where he was held without bond.

On Thursday, November 7th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Irron Lateef Daye, 46, of Cumberland MD. Daye was arrested on charges of being a Fugitive from Justice when it was found he had an open Bench Warrant issued for his arrest in Monongalia County WV. That warrant alleged he failed to appear in court on previous charge of CDS distribution. Daye was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond, awaiting extradition to WV.
