On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police arrested Amber Rose Westfall, 29, of Cumberland MD. Westfall was arrested on two active Bench Warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court for failing to appear for trial dates. The first warrant alleges Westfall failed to appear in court on April 22nd on charges of burglary, trespassing, and possessing CDS in a place of confinement. The second warrant was issued on April 29th for failing to appear on charges of obstructing, fraud, and CDS possession. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held on a total of $8,000 bond.

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police arrested Deondre Paul Barnett, 27, of Cumberland MD. Barnett was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 23rd, 2023. The warrant alleges Barnett failed to appear in court on that date for a previous charge of driving without a license. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on $1,000 bond.

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police arrested Brittany Lynn Lantz, 35, of Cumberland MD. Lantz was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on April 29th. The warrant alleges Lantz failed to comply with an order of the court that stemmed from previous theft charges. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond. At the time of her arrest, Lantz was also served with a Criminal Summons for an incident that occurred on March 22nd, 2024. During that incident, it is alleged that Lantz entered a business in the 400 block of Virginia Ave, concealed food items inside a backpack, and left the store without attempting to pay for them. She was served the summons and awaits trial in District Court.

On Monday, July 10th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Jacob Allen Baker, 34, of Lonaconing MD. Baker was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 7th, 2023. The warrant alleged Baker failed to comply with an order of the court of pre-trial release condition on a previous burglary charge. Baker was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On Monday, July 10th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Rodney Lee Smith, 56, of Cumberland MD. Smith was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on July 6th, 2023. During that incident, the Cumberland Police responded to Park St business for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed that Smith had broken into a vending machine located there and stolen the cash box from within. Smith was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own personal recognizance.

On Monday, July 10th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Kevin Delonte Jordan, 31, of Cumberland MD. Jordan was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 6th, 2023. The warrant alleged Jordan failed to appear in District Court on that date for a previous charge of driving with a suspended license. Jordan was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own personal recognizance.

On Monday, July 10th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police arrested Daulton William Barnhart, 26, of Monroeville PA. Barnhart was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on June 9th, 2023. The warrant alleged Barnhart failed to appear in District Court on that date for a previous charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Barnhart was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on a $1000 unsecured bond.
