On Monday, July 21st, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Haily Marie Moon, 20, of Cumberland, MD. Moon was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on April 21st, 2025. The warrant alleged Moon violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon due to a previous conviction of Theft less than $100.00. Moon was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held on a $500 bond.

On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Eugene Victor Edwards Jr, 36, of Cumberland, MD. Firstly, Edwards was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 10th. The warrant was issued in reference to numerous incidents that have occurred over the previous year. During those incidents, it is alleged that Edwards engaged in numerous criminal activities, including violating a protective order, theft, stalking, and trespassing. Secondly, Edwards was served with two Bench Warrants issued on July 14th, both alleging he violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon him due to a previous two convictions on charges of violating a protective order. Edwards was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Tonya Nichole Moon-Grove, 51, of Cumberland, MD. Moon-Grove was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on November 7th, 2024. The warrant alleges that Moon-Grove failed to appear in District Court on that date for a previous charge of violating a protective order. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where she was released on her own recognizance.
