On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Jessica Scarlett. The warrant was issued in response to Scarlett failing to appear in court on December 15th, 2025, for a traffic case. Scarlett was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where she was released on her own recognizance pending her trial at the Allegany County District Court.

On Thursday, December 18th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Johnna Maxine Buckley, 35, of Cumberland MD. Buckley was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on December 1st, 2025. The warrant alleges Buckley violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon her due to a previous conviction on CDS possession charges. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond. At the time of her arrest, Buckley was also found to be in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. She was issued a Criminal Citation for the offense.
