On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Brittany Lantz. The warrant was issued as the result of Lantz failing to appear in court. She was originally charged with Theft less than $100. Lantz was arrested and transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond.

BENCH WARRANTS SERVED
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served three bench warrants on Anthony Talbert Sr. One warrant was issued as the result of Talbert violating probation where he was originally charged with Theft less than $100. The other two warrants were issued as the result of Talbert failing to comply with orders of the court. In one case, he was originally charged with Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000. In the other case, he was originally charged with Litter/Dump: Under 100 lbs, Disorderly Conduct, Disturb the Peace/Disorderly, Disturb Peace-Lud Noise, and Dangerous Weapon-Conceal (x2). Talbert was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner. He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond for the first warrant and without bond for the other two warrants.

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on William Wight. The warrant was issued as the result of Wight violating probation. He was originally charged with Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000 and Resist Arrest. Wight was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond.

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Sheila Cappadona. The warrants were issued as the result of Cappadona failing to comply with orders of the court. In one case, she was originally charged with Violate Protective Order, Trespass: Private Property, Violate Release Cond-Crime Violence, Violate Release Cond-Person Eligible Relief. In the other case, she was originally charged with Violate Protective Order and Assault-2nd Degree. Cappadona was arrested and transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Mary Miller. The warrant was issued as the result of Miller failing to comply with an order of the court. She was originally charged with Assault-1st Degree, Assault-2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Theft less than $100. Miller was arrested and transported to Central Booking. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
