On Sunday, July 27th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Chantee Marie Carey, 36, of Cumberland, MD. Carey was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 21st. The warrant alleged she violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon her due to a previous conviction on charges of second-degree assault. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held on $500 bond.

On Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested David Antoine Lee, 37, of Cumberland, MD. Lee was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on June 3rd, 2025. The warrant alleged Lee violated the terms and conditions of his probation that stemmed from a previous conviction on charges of driving without a license. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on $2,500 bond.
