On Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Justin David Crabtree Jr, 24, of Frostburg MD. Crabtree was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on October 18th, 2025. During that incident, officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Broadway Circle residence for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers contacted a female victim who advised she had been assaulted by Crabtree inside the home, causing minor injury. Crabtree fled the scene prior to officers arrival and was not able to be located. As a result, an application for charges was submitted with the District Court and a warrant issued for Crabtree's arrest. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

On October 5th, 2025 at approximately 2:23 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to Broadway Circle for an assault. Upon arrival officers contacted the victim who advised that they were in an argument with Amber Marie Davis and she assaulted them. Officers observed injuries consistent with the victim's statement and placed Davis under arrest for the assault. Davis was transported to Central Booking and was presented before an Allegany County District Court commissioner, where she was released on her own recognizance.
