On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Antonio Fagan Jr, 36, of Cumberland MD. Fagan was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on July 29th, 2024. The warrant alleged Fagan failed to appear in court on that date for previous charges of theft and issuing forged currency. Fagan was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Kurt Jason Wilt, 43, of Grantsville MD. Wilt was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on August 23rd, 2024. The warrant alleged Wilt violated the terms and conditions of his probation that stemmed from a previous conviction on charges of violating a protective order. Wilt was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.

On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, The Cumberland City Police arrested Keith Louis Wilkins, 36, of Frostburg MD. Wilkins was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on September 5th, 2024. The warrant alleged Wilkins failed to appear in court on that date for previous charge of CDS possession. Wilkins was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on $2,500 bond. At the time of his arrest, Wilkins was also found to be in possession of a CDS paraphernalia and was issued a criminal citation for the offense.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Daquan Donaldson. The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on June 8, 2023. On this date, at approximately 5:06 PM, an alleged victim reported to an officer that he was assaulted by a male subject inside of a business in the 200 block of Greene Street. A suspect was developed and identified as Daquan Donaldson. After further investigation, police filed for charges against Donaldson at the District Court of Allegany County. Donaldson signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Woodrow Dean. The warrant was issued as the result of Dean failing to appear for court on June 9, 2023. He was originally charged with Litter/Dump: Under 100 LBS. Dean was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court bench warrant-Grand Jury Indictment on Donald Dockeney. Dockeney was indicted on the charge of CDS: Possession with the Intent to Distribute Narcotics. He was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond pending his appearance before the court.

ASSAULT ARRESTS
On Friday, June 9, 2023 at approximately 5:55 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Altamont Terrace and E. Harrison Street for an assault. Officers contacted the involved parties, Kaitlyn Alexander and Kenneth Martz. Police learned that a mutual assault had occurred between Alexander and Martz. Officers observed injuries to both subjects. After further investigation, Alexander and Martz were arrested and transported to police headquarters. They were later transported to Central Booking and seen by a District Court Commissioner. Both were released on their personal recognizance.
