City Police Report for Sunday

On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Knox St for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject outside the residence, walking in the street. The male subject then aggressively approached officers, yelling and cursing at them. Officers gave the male repeated orders to cease his disruptive behavior, but he refused to comply. As a result, Tyrone Lemar Oliver, 36, of Cumberland MD, was placed under arrest. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where he was released on his own recognizance.

ARRESTED -     Tyrone Lemar Oliver,    36yo.

CHARGES -  Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Obey, Disturb the Peace.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Brittany Rice.  The warrant was issued as the result of Rice failing to appear in court on an original charge of Driving without a license.  She was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, Rice was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED

 

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Daniel Jefts.  The summons was issued as the result of a private citizen filing charges against Jefts at the District Court of Allegany County.  Jefts was released pending trial.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT ARREST

On Saturday, August 2, 2025 at approximately 1:56 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Baltimore Street at Queen City Drive for a disturbance.  The caller reported that a male subject had threatened him with a knife.  Police located the suspect and identified him as Drezdin Delgado.  Delgado was issued two criminal citations and released pending trial.

 

ARRESTED:  Drezdin Jose Delgado       AGE:  23        Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  Disorderly Conduct, Disturb the Peace
