On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Nathan Tallman. The summons was issued as the result of a private citizen filing for charges against Tallman at the District Court of Allegany County. Tallman was released pending trial.

FUGITIVE WARRANT SERVED
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a fugitive warrant on Clifford Dewoehrel. He had an active warrant through the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for violating parole. Dewoehrel was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center to await extradition.

ASSAULT ARREST
On Saturday, November 22, 2025 at approximately 10:22 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 400 block of Columbia Street for an assault. Police contacted an alleged victim who reported that Darren Hurley had assaulted her. Officers observed that the victim had sustained injuries. After further investigation, Hurley was arrested and transported to Central Booking where he is currently being held awaiting his initial appearance.

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Patrick Kenneth Conners Sr. The summons was issued in connection with a fraud investigation that began on September 24, 2025 when police were called to a credit union on W. Union Street. The staff reported that Conners attempted to cash a fraudulent check. After further investigation, police filed for charges against Conners at the District Court of Allegany County. Conners signed for his copy of the summons and he was released pending trial.
