Arrest Warrants Served

 

The Cumberland Police served and Arrest Warrant on Justin

Allen Fansler, age 32, of Cumberland MD. The Warrant charged Fansler for Failure to Appear for a court case. The original charge was for DUI. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner released on his own recognizance.

The Cumberland Police served and Arrest Warrant on Todd Justin Rice, age 28, of Ridgeley, WV. The Warrant charged Rice with Theft $100-$1500 and three counts of Motor Vehicle Tampering without Owner’s Consent. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal Summons

 

The Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Brandi Lynn Skelley, age 31, of Cumberland, MD. The Summons charged Skelley with several traffic charges related to a Hit and Run incident. She is awaiting trial in the matter.

On Tuesday December 26, 2017, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Gregory Denton, age 51 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued as a result of a Robbery that occurred at a business in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue on December 16, 2017 at about 8:20 pm.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Denton entered the store with a black mask and hood.

Denton was told by store personnel that he needed to remove his mask.  Denton exited the store but entered again and walked behind one of the store clerks and placed a knife within the immediate area of the store clerk’s abdomen demanding money.  Denton was able to get the money from two registers and left the area.  Denton was identified by surveillance footage of the incident.  He was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing and was held without bail at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGES:  Armed Robbery, Assault 1st Degree, Dangerous Weapon, Robbery, Assault 2nd Degree, Theft $100.00 to $1,500.00 dollars.

 

SUMMONS SERVICE

On Tuesday December 26, 2017, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Joseph Natale, age 36 of Cumberland, Maryland.  On Saturday December 24, 2017, officers responded to a private residence in the 200 block of Grand Avenue in reference to an assault.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Natale engaged into a verbal argument with the victim that escalated to Natale punching the female victim in the mouth with a closed fist and then slapped her in the face.  The victim called the police but Natale grabbed the phone from her.  The victim did not require medical attention.  Natale was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE:  Assault 2nd Degree.

WARRANT SERVICE

On Tuesday December 26, 2017, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Schuyler Gordon, age 26 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued as a result of Gordon failing to appear for court on December 21, 2017 for a previous arrest for driving without a required license.  Gordon was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing.  He was held on a $500.00 dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGE:  Bench Warrant- Fail to Appear.
