On Thursday, April 29th, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Park Street business for the report of a female that had been detained by store employees for attempting to leave without paying for merchandise. The same female was also observed earlier in the day stealing from the same business. When officers arrived, the female was identified as Kassidy Elizabeth Deneen. She was issued a criminal citation for theft and released pending trial at District Court.

On Saturday evening, at approximately 8:30 PM, Cumberland City Police responded to a business in the 700 block of Park Street for a theft complaint.
Upon arrival officers spoke to employees and learned that Kaylynn Faye Nickole Brant had concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the business without paying.
Ms. Brant was arrested and issued a criminal citation. Ms. Brant was released pending trial in District Court.

Charges – Theft from $100.00 to under $1,500.00
