On Monday April 15th, 2024 at approximately 3:30 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Jaylin Albright. The Arrest Warrant was issued by the District Court stemming from a robbery that had occurred on April 12th, 2024 at approximately 9:25pm in the area of Boone Street, that is being investigated by the Cumberland Police Department and the Combined County Criminal Investigative Unit. During the service of the Arrest Warrant officers located a quantity of suspected crack cocaine. Albright was issued a Criminal Citation for possession not cannabis, and was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond.
Arrest: Jaylin Michael Albright, age 19, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Possession not Cannabis, Armed Robbery, Dangerous Weapon Intent to Injure, Assault First Degree, Stolen Registered Firearm, Possess of Firearm Minor, Unlawful Sale of a Regulated Firearm, Theft $1,500 to $25,000, Assault Second Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Detach Magazine Over 10 Rounds, Restricted Firearm Ammo in a Crime of Violence.

On December 7, 2023, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department executed a search warrant in the 800 block of Patterson Avenue. Throughout the investigation officers had obtained information and evidence in regards to illicit drugs being distributed from the residence. After the execution of the search warrant quantities of controlled dangerous substances were located, and several suspects were arrested and charged. At this time the investigation is still ongoing.
Arrests: Multiple individuals
Charges: Possession not cannabis and possession of paraphernalia.
