CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED
On November 16th, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Gracee Jacobs. The summons was issued as result of an assault that occurred on November 12, 2022, at a business on Queen City Drive. The officer conducted an investigation and determined Jacobs engaged in a fight with three juveniles at the business and filed for charges on Jacobs at District Court. Jacobs signed for her copy of the summons and was released pending trial at District Court.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED
On November 16th, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Rachel Brotemarkle. The bench warrant was issued as a result of Brotemarkle violating conditions of her probation. She was originally charged with Assault 2nd degree. Brotemarkle was arrested and transported to central booking. She was later seen by a District Court commissioner, and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

On Monday, September 12, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Samuel England. The bench warrant was issued as a result of England violating conditions of his probation. He was originally charged with Theft less than $100 and Theft $100 to under $1500. England was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on a $3,000 unsecured personal bond.

On Monday, September 12, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on John Brimhall. The summons was issued as a result of an incident that occurred at approximately 7:04 AM. Officers were called to a residence in the 600 block of Shriver Avenue for a disturbance. Police contacted the resident who reported that she had been arguing with Brimhall. Officers learned that Brimhall had an active Protective Order against him prohibiting him from being on the property. Charges were filed against Brimhall at the District Court of Allegany County. Brimhall was released pending trial.
