The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will meet in public session beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Allegany Museum (3 Pershing Street) on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, for the purpose of immediately closing the meeting to discuss matters that relate to contract negotiations with the International Association of Firefighters Local #203. Authority to close the session is provided by Section 3-305(b)(9) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will then hold a Public Work Session at 5:00 PM in the same conference room.
The Mayor and City Council's regularly scheduled Public Meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Ballroom in the Allegany Museum.

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will meet in public work session on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the second floor conference room of City Hall. Then, beginning at 6:15 p.m., Council will hold their regularly scheduled public meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers. In person attendance is once again permitted.
Council will consider the approval of a number of items on Tuesday's consent agenda, including a sole source contract with AquaLaw for just shy of $50,000 to provide consultation to extend the 1998 Consent Order from the Maryland Department of the Environment on the Combined Sewer Overflow.
