On October 28th, 2022 at approximately 12:20 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Queen City Drive and Harrison Street. The officer contacted the operator, Stephen Hines, and observed signs of impairment. After performance of Standardized Field Sobriety, the officer observed further evidence of impairment and placed him under arrest. Hines was later released on citations:
Arrest: Stephen Ad Hines, age 41, Baltimore Maryland.
Charges: DUI Related Citations.

On January 20th, 2020, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 300 block of Virginia Avenue for a reported motor vehicle crash. Upon the officers arrival they observed the vehicle to be on its roof, and spoke with the driver, Trenton Michael Miller. As the officer spoke with Miller they observed him to exhibit signs of impairment. Miller agreed to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which resulted in the officer determining that Miller was driving under the influence. Miller was then placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence, and other traffic related charges. Miller was released on citations pending his trial.
