On Thursday, September 17th, 2020 a Cumberland Police officer was on patrol in the area of Bellevue Street when he stopped a vehicle suspected of being involved in a drug transaction. The driver was identified as Mariana Ann Ilif who did not have a driver’s license. A Cumberland K-9 officer also assisted in the investigation and a search resulted in officers locating a quantity of suspect heroin in Iliff’s clothing. She was arrested and charged with CDS possession of heroin and taken before the District Court Commissioner for a bond review. Iliff was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial.

On Friday, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Greene Street residence for the report of an assault. When officers arrived, contact was made with a female victim that stated Rachael Nicole Dolly showed up at her residence; an argument ensued and Dolly punched her in the face. Officers then went to Dolly’s residence to speak with her about the incident and to also contact her about an open and outstanding arrest warrant for robbery, theft, and assault. When officers arrived at Dolly’s residence, she saw the officers approaching and fled back into her residence. Officers were then able to make entry and found Dolly and placed her under arrest. Located in closed proximity to Dolly at the time of her arrest was suspected crack cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. She was charged with assault, CDS possession of crack cocaine, and served the arrest warrant. Dolly had a bond review before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

Bench Warrant Served
On Friday, April 24th, 2020 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant issued by the Washington County District Court on Sabrina Ann Taylor for failing to appear for trial on January 20th, 2020 on a driving without a license charge. She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial.
